Hi So I've been getting complaints that zip files are corrupt. At first I've been ignoring but I keep getting these every day. Thinking about switching to rar. I am absolutely confused, any experience and/or advice? Thank you. |

Hi, there is a bug with zip (don't use it at the moment). Change it to rar in "Settings" -> "Process" -> "Compress" and choose the "Rar.exe" which is located in main "WinRar" folder (you need to choose Rar.exe [not WinRar.exe]). Made some fixes for zip for next update (1.91). |

Ok, Does it matter zip/rar in regards to speed and CPU usage? |

Both are about the same. Pretty much everybody are using rar without any issues. |

I see TC 1.91 is out, Is zip bug fixed? I'm asking cause I really don't want to buy winrar and I'm not safe installing cracked version on server. Thanks. |

WinRar is 100% free. You don't need to buy it and it does not need any crack. After sometime it only shows some pop-up if you're using the WinRar itself, however themaPoster does not use Winrar (only the Rar.exe tool). I'm personally using it like that (never bought, never done any crack). Just use rar option. It's better. |
