Damn...

You are now adding updates so fast that they are there before we even get a chance to make a request.

Looks like small mistake at my part.

PM me the title (file / folder name) which you tried to process.

Hello there,

There is a problem that makes me waste too much time, and hurts my eyes.

Empo agent finds the wrong title and tags and I work too much to fix it manually.

When it searches for torrent by title, it scrapes data from the first (latest) result.

After torrent is uploaded someone usually uploads a x265/hevc reencoded version.

So if we have "Some Title 1080p" and some time later someone uploads "Some Title 1080p x265 reencode", TC will scrape the x265 version metadata since it is the first search result.

It's same with "Some Title 1080p" and "Some Title 1080p [Higher Bitrate]"
or "Some Title 5K" and "Some Title 5K HQ"

So it pulls the wrong title and much worse wrong tags and if I have 500 titles at least 100 will need manual fix.

It's all I do day and night...

I hope you have an idea how to fix it cause I don't.

I was suggesting earlier that TC could search by HASH instead of title and probably be 100% correct all the time.

I have a python script that executes after torrent finishes and I can make it create a file that contains torrent HASH inside a folder or copy .torrent to the folder or whatever else.

I hope I don't sound too much like an idiot, please meditate on this.

Thank you.

Now I'm thinking,

My post processing script already scrapes all info from .torrent.

Actually what would be best is to add more options like {#txtText#}.

Like {#tx1Text#}, {#tx2Text#} ...

I thought of this when I was setting up xfantasy too, but somehow managed to place needed text at the end of a nfo file.

1.76:
* Added new general tags: {#txt2Text#}, {#txt2Image#}. Inserts second .txt file text / image if folder has more than one .txt files.

That is absolutely awesome.

Just to clear one thing,

filename.txt is {#txtText#}
filename2.txt is {#txt2Text#}

Is this correct?

I know I'm boring but please hear me out.

Almost every h.264 upload on emp is reuploaded as h.265 soon after.

TC keeps finding h.265 title and tags, that need to be fixed manually.

As explained before we have 2 uploads titled:
1. Some Title 1080p
2. Some Title 1080p x265

TC will search for the first one, but will find the second one since it's newer.
So now every title and tags is from x265 upload.

I only wonder if it is possible to tune the search.

If title doesn't contain "x265" than search for "Some Title NOT x265"

This word "x265" is the only exception to define every h.265 title.

It is important to address this issue since there are many versions of any worthy video.

Other exceptions are:
-Some Title 1080p "Higher Bitrate"
-Some Title 1080p "Lower Bitrate"
-Some Title Oculus 4K "HQ"

Instead of just fast checking the posts and posting them, I waste 8 hours per day on deleting x265 from titles and copy paste correct tags. That's all I do every day. Such boring work, so depressing.

I've just checked.

Emp allows Boolean Search (AND, OR, NOT)

https://www.empornium.me/articles/view/search

I could set folder names to end with "-x265" if there is no "x265" in title, than TC would search by folder name with "-x265" in the end but it's ugly to attach boolean commands to folder names.

It would be great and more logical if Emp source agent had this feature itself.

Thank you.

It works with all pictures.

Most image hosts don't support gif. It's converted automatically to png.

No, it will be png.

A lot of forums / blog don't properly display gifs and it will only cause more issues. And a lot other image hosts don't support gifs (a lot of other people use different hosts).

It was as gif before and I literally done this later because people were having issues with gifs.

Hi,

Seems that I can't scrape cover without either title or tags.

I hope it will be possible in some of the future updates.
