Hi Freddy. Can you make direct images also reduce in size? To save image storage space. It's just that if you make single images with 4K video, they occupy 3 megabytes each! It would be nice for the images to shrink physically, in width, for example 500, 600, 800 pixels.

I'm already reducing image sizes automatically if image is larger than 4MB.

4MB was the request by other users. Shrinking it lower might affect image quality.

People who download your videos usually want to see original size images from the video. If you reduce it so much it will be pointless for people and they would just complain or don't download at all.

Edit:

1.54:

* Added option in "Settings" -> "Process" -> "Preview" -> "Reduce image size if large than (in MB)".
* Added option in "Settings" -> "Process" -> "Cover" -> "Reduce image size if large than (in MB)".

With options 1, 2, 3, 4

Could you please make it possible to set the maximum width of the picture? I just don’t think that someone is watching the original 3840x2160 pixels...

I already added options to automatically reduce the size for next update based on needed size.

There is already option to "Try to force maximum thumbnail width to direct image as well" for width, but it only affects few image hosts at the moment.

I have improved for next update to affect all hosts. From next update just enable that option in Cover and/or Preview settings (will only work correctly from next update: 1.54).
