sometimes release name is a bit difficult to get search result on omdb/imdb. wondering if we could have add imdb link so tc will use that imdb URL for fetch. example:

"Maigrets.Dead.Man.2016.1080p.BRRip.H264.AAC-RARBG\Maigrets.Dead.Man.2016.1080p.BRRip.H264.AAC-RARBG.mkv
"Maigrets.Dead.Man.2016.1080p.BRRip.H264.AAC-RARBG\imdb.txt"

in imdb.txt we add the imdb link which tc will get info.


i using option if imdb info not found show error and do nothing. in that case this feature will be helpful. i can manually add the imdb link and retry.

You most likely have in "TEMPLATES" -> "Video" -> "Settings" -> "IMDB / TMDB" -> enabled "Prefer TMDB information".

That movie does not exists in TMDB and you want to prefer TMDB information so it's showing that error in this case.

With that option disabled it works fine.

That error is shown if your "Main" template or {#cover#} sub-template or IMDB {#imdbInfo#} sub-template has any of these tags:


That information is only available in TMDB.

You would need to remove those tags.
