Made the improvements for N/A to use main description in that case as you described (for next update 2.92).

For last one (Stargate SG-1) make sure that in "TEMPLATES" -> "Video" -> "Settings" -> "IMDB / TMBD" -> "Prefer TMDB information" is enabled.

It must be enabled since "episodeSeasonDescription" is taken from there.

yes I have it turned on "Prefer TMDB information"

now I noticed that CI does not provide me with a description of the season at all, even if it exists

because it didn't add a description for Halo Season 2 either

Maybe some other settings are related.

Do this: "Help" menu (at the top) -> "Support" -> "Compress" -> send me the file which it opens (via PM on any file host).
