Hi,

I was wondering if would be possible to add the functionality to chose multiple sections in the "send to themaPoster" function.

Often I want to choose "Create" and then I would like to chose more than 1 section - I can only select 1 as it is now.

You can just setup auto-sending posts to themaPoster (you won't need to click anything).

For sections in themaCreator you set to send to multiple sections in themaPoster if needed.

In "Settings" -> "Posts" -> you can choose to add the post to posts list in themaPoster and not post immediately if wanted.

You can use themaPoster auto directory posting feature: http://poster.themasoftware.com/faq.php?expand=faq407 / http://poster.themasoftware.com/faq.php?expand=faq304

And themaCreator auto-save to txt files feature: http://creator.themasoftware.com/faq.php?expand=faq302

Basically in themaCreator for needed sections set auto save to txt folder and choose needed folder from themaPoster user/auto-create/section_name or user/auto-reply/group_name.

For section in themaCreator you can set up-to three different locations to save .txt file (just set two in different themaPoster sections if needed).

Thank you for the answer Freddy.

My problem is - it varies a lot what I need to send to what template section in TP.

I can have in TC

Section 1
Section 2
Section 3

Posts in TC Section 2 sometimes go to Section 1+2 or Section 2+3 template in TP.
Its far from steady for each post.

I have my websites setup with categories and that is matching site by site in TP.

EDit:
I tried with txt files.
My problem is - TP loads the posts individually for each section - means the Areas to post is only 1 section - so when I set all posts in schedule they will not be posted at the same time.

I usually send from TC -> TP and chose 1 section - then go to TP and click "Add more topics/templates" but I am basically looking for a way to send to multiple templates directly from TC so the posting Areas in TP is populated with all templates so posting is done at the same time.

Maybe I am overlooking something as I am not used to using the auto-create option

You would need to send the post two times then if needed like that.

Usually that would result for duplicate posts in a forum / blog for most people and would get them banned.

I don't plan to make it to encourage that and that would cause more issues really.

If for "Section 2" you always need post in themaPoster "Section 2" -> setup that with .txt file auto-sending as mentioned in previous post. Then you will only need to send once manually to "Section 1" or "Section 3".

Or setup sections better in themaPoster to have all templates in one needed section (there is no need to split to multiple sections for different websites, if it's "Music" section -> for each site save template for that section -> you will only need to choose one section when posting then).
