Before I can save the posts as txt files. I by mistake deleted the posts from the post list.

Is there a way to recover the posts from back up?

no, not really.

Backups for themaCreator contain all settings, etc. (except the posts). The posts are not in backups because they would just use too much space and would take forever to backup large amount of posts. There is already a feature for automatic saving posts to .txt files.

You can setup auto-saving to .txt files as described here: http://creator.themasoftware.com/faq.php?expand=faq302

Then you can load the posts back from .txt files at any time.
