It found a movie then or your filename was in wrong format (it did not initiate IMDB search at all, maybe missing year or Sxx, SxxExx). Take a look at final generated post. You will see it might have IMDB information. If not PM me your user files and filename which you tried. |

i mean lets say the file has no imdb URL at all. is there any option by which TC will skip processing the file? |

No, there is no such option at the moment. Edit: 2.38: * Added options in "Templates" -> "Video" -> "Settings" -> "IMDB / TMDB" -> "Skip if incorrect filename format for IMDB fetching". |
