it looks like we have limit to add host for 7 category (video, game, audio, book...) here is my suggestion to make it simple.

1. when we add account of image and filehost we will not assign to any type. simple just add.

2. we create section, we edit selected section template. there will show all the image host and filehost available. we just tick mark which host to upload/process for this selected section.

It's already very simple.

Just assign needed post type to needed host. By default host is being used for all post types (all posts).

You should not care about sections. Sections are only to organize posts. You can already adjust each post template and assign needed hosts if needed for different post type.

The hosts should not depend on section.

Edit:

1.34:
* Added ability to assign sections for hosts if needed in "HOSTS" -> "Files" -> "Sections".

Hi.

I have Host A Host B Host C added in Hosts.

I only post video so my template is customized for that but when I create posts or monitor folders TC uses all 3 hosts to upload to.

Some of my topics only use Host A, Some Hos B etc etc.

Is it possible to filter that ?

At the moment - no.

The only way you could do this is to add not needed hosts in banned hosts for themaPoster.

Is there any reason why the post should not contain all 3 hosts? The more hosts - the better?

Edit:

1.34:
* Added ability to assign sections for hosts if needed in "HOSTS" -> "Files" -> "Sections".

The more hosts the better is not always true, for uploaders anyway.

I only use 2 filehosts but they all have some limited storage space so I use 1 host per topic.

Also some forums have required/mandatory hosts for some sections of the forum and not for other sections.

And some forums force you to use a mirror host if you use i.e Rapidgator but the second host used may not be allowed on another forum.

But I guess disabling the host not needed would fix this somehow.

You can removed not allowed hosts with banned hosts in themaPoster.

Yes, you can temporary disable host in themaCreator (by right click -> "Disable").

Will think about hosts per section and might add if I have more time.

Hi.

I can enable & disable hosts for whenever I want to upload to one or the other.

The problem I face with this is I can not disable one host and enable the other host while there is files being processed. Meaning I have to wait until ALL processes are finished before I can add new processes to the queue with the second host enabled.

Is there any easier work around for that ?

Hi,

if it's for different posts type (video, music, pictures, etc.) then you can assign hosts for needed post type.

If it's for the same post type (like video), then at the moment there is no easier way. You could copy paste whole themaCreator folder to different location on the same PC, and use it with different settings, but I can't recommend that.

I do plan to improve this.

Hi.

I will wait for future updates and see.

Was just looking if there was a work around I didnt know about, its all good :)

If I could manually set post type per section I guess that way I could also force different host to be used but as I see TC auto detects post type.

Hi.

Is this still being considered adding?

I really could use host per section option as I like to queue many many files for processing to different sections but I cant do that because then all will be uploaded to 1 host.

I tried messing around with other templates but it cant work because TC determines auto what kind of file it processes. If I could set Section1 as Video and Section2 as Other maybe I could force TC to use different filehosts for each section that way as I can set each filehost for each type.

i think better you run multiple TC for separate task. TC does not use high cpu, so should be fine.

I dont want to run 3-5 instances of TC with 4-8 files processing in each instance ... I prefer to queue files for processing per section ... I use 3-4 diff. hosts for different content.

Ability to set which host I wanna use per section, for example, I have two dirs application is monitoring for autocreation, folder X (Section "A") and folder Y (Section "B")

I want creator for example, to upload all from section A (folder X) to RapidGator and K2S, but from Section B (folder Y), I want it to only upload to Rapidgator.

If "folder X" is different post type than "folder Y" then you can already do that.

For example: folder X is movies and folder Y is books.
