Hi,

Picstate offers a nice "clean" link without full filename via web upload.

I'm currently using these tags for cover and preview:

{#imageDirectUrl#}
{#imageThumbUrl#}

There is a long filename when using these links, and word replacements often mess with the url.

Can we extract what they call "clean link"?

Thank you.

You can already do that. "Clean link" is just the page URL.

There is a separate tag for that: {#imagePageUrl#}

You would need to use it. However it's not pointing to an image, you can only use it in "url" tag (not "img" tag).

It's exactly the same in their example codes which they provide.

The thumbnail / direct link is always with filename.

Hi Freddy,

picstate[.]com seems to be down and it seems they've switched to pictate[.]top.

I see that TC is working fine and some forums have created redirections but I have no idea what is going on and if .com is coming back or should we switch to .top.

Since there is no info anywhere, and they didn't bother to notify users, maybe you know something...

Thank you.

Hi Freddy!
Today images stopped working on this host and this is what admin replied:

"I'm uncertain why you use a non-standard URI. We have a '/files/' location, but not a '/file/' one. Just because this URI might have been supported previously doesn't guarantee its continued support, as it's not part of the default setup. Nonetheless, we've made some adjustments, and your links should be functional now. Could you please provide a link to the board or blog where I can check for other non-standard links that may have become broken?".

Thema Creator uses https://picstate.com/FILE/ instead of https://picstate.com/FILES/ when uploading images.
Is it possible to fix this asap?
Thank you!

Hi,

for me after uploading (via browser) they show all links with /file/ (not /files/).

Not sure why they show with /file/ in browser then.

But it seems like /files/ works too for the same images.

I have changed it to be /files/ from next update.

Thanks!
Right now both options are working because the admin added that.
But I think it's better to use their settings.

Upd. For me, it shows the FILES:

Hi Freddy,

I've been writing about WEBP to JPG feature globally, but how about only for this host?

They don't allow WEBP and when covers from source are WEBP posts fail to process.

Will take a look.

Strange that they still don't support that format, it's one of the main image formats by now.

Might be a good idea to contact them about that, they might be unaware of the issue.

Yes, I just asked and they did it. They say it's in beta, but it works just fine.

Edit: pornbb and forumophilia don't display webp. Had to add ".webp" to banned words for these forums in TP.
