If you want to use a custom font you must rename it to:

Note: you must actually rename the font (not the filename of your font).
To rename the font can you use:
https://www.neuber.com/typograph/ (or any other tool which is capable of doing that). In Typograph -> load your font (.ttf file) -> right click on it -> "Properties" -> "Rename" -> and it will ask to save it.
Then in Windows you must install the font for
all users. It won't work if you only install for current user by double clicking.
To install for all users -> right click on font file (.ttf) -> "Install for all users".
